1972 Sparkman and Stephens designed Deb 33, long keel with stainless steel lifting plate, tiller steering, Volvo Penta MD2030 diesel, topsides repainted professionally in 2023, epoxy coated below the waterline, recent engine service & stainless steel fuel tank, rigged for bluewater sailing, fine offshore cruiser!
Built in 1972. GRP construction with long keel and lifting plate, skeg hung rudder, aft cockpit with tiller steering, bermudan sloop rig.
NOTE - topsides repainted in 2023. She has been epoxy coated below the waterline with International Gelshield Plus in around 2013 and her cast iron lifting keel has been replaced with a stainless steel lifting keel in approx 2018 with wire to dyneema in 2018, original keel still available.

Volvo Penta MD2030B 28hp inboard diesel engine (1997). Engine No 5101 458770. Shaft drive to fixed propeller. Stainless steel fuel tank. Engine overhauled in 2023, work included new sump cover and timing cover.
Electrical
Alternator charging to 3 x 12v batteries (2 domestic and 1 engine). Solar panel with dual battery charge control regulator. LED internal and navigation lights. 240v shore power.

Compass, Raymarine ST50 log, depth and wind, Standard Horizon Explorer DSC VHF radio (new mast cable 2023), Simrad TP32 tillerpilot, B & G V7 chart plotter, Raytheon SL70m radar, Digital Yacht AIT 1500 AIS class B AIS transponder, LED navigation lights.

Slab reefing mainsail (3 reefs) with Jeckells mainmate mainsail handling system with lazyjacks and stack pack. Barton boomstrut. Harken Mk 1 furler. Furling No 1 Genoa. Spare No 1 Genoa. No 2 Genoa, storm jib and storm tr-sail. Spinnaker with snuffer. Alloy mast and boom, stainless steel standing rigging.
Domestic
Bulkhead mounted paraffin heater. Her galley has a Nelson gimballed gas cooker with oven, water supply to the sink, pots, pans, cutlery and crockery. Separate head compartment with marine toilet and washbasin with holding tank. Hot and cold water to heads and galley, plus cockpit shower. Chart table, saloon table. 2 wooden bunk boards.
ACCOMMODATION
5 berths in 2 cabins with double "V" berth in the forward cabin, 2 single settee berths and one quarter berth.

Owners Comments
"Brinestar" is a classic Deb 33, designed by Sparkman and Stephens and moulded by Tylers. She was purchased by her present owner in 2011 and has been much upgraded. She would make an excellent offshore or bluewater cruising yacht.
