REMARKS

"Trinovante" is still in the hands of the original owners, a husband and wife team who have competently maintained and regularly slipped her, operating her commercially since 2005. During 2023 she sailed to the Orkney and Shetland Isles. During the past 15 years, this British Registered schooner has become well known in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Germany, Ireland and the Netherlands, as well as her home on the east coast of the UK. This is a serious sea-going vessel designed for long-distance offshore sailing, with a functional and comfortable fit-out.

This three-masted schooner rig can be handled by two people but can also provide plenty of action for a larger crew. Off the wind, this rig is a very gentle gyber and very stable goosewinged. She feels stable and safe in rough weather and will often self steer. Reducing sail is usually done by dropping a sail rather than reefing. A big spread of light weather canvas means she will ghost along in light airs.
